Overview
Accomplish ("the app", "we", "us") schedules your tasks and calendar events on a timeline. The app is operated by an independent developer based in Jerusalem, Israel, named in the app's App Store and Google Play listings, who is the data controller for the personal data described here. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have, and it also covers the small amount of data collected through this website. The app has no servers of its own: your data stays on your device and with the calendar providers you connect.
Information the App Accesses
- Google account and calendar. If you sign in with Google, the app accesses your account email, the list of your calendars (read only), and your Google Calendar events (read and write) through Google's official Sign-In and Calendar APIs, so it can show your events on the timeline and save the changes you make.
- Google Tasks. If you choose to import from Google Tasks, the app reads your Google Tasks lists and their tasks through Google's official Tasks API, so it can bring them into Accomplish and place them on your timeline. The import is one-way: Accomplish reads your Google Tasks but does not change them.
- Apple Calendar (iOS only). On iOS, if you grant calendar access, the app reads events from the Apple calendars you choose and writes events you create, using Apple's on-device EventKit framework. This data never leaves your device except through your own iCloud or account settings. The Android app connects to Google Calendar only and does not access the device calendar.
- Tasks you create. Tasks you add in Accomplish, and tasks you import from Google Tasks, are stored locally on your device.
- Preferences. Your settings — such as which calendars to display and your default calendar for new events — are stored locally on your device.
How the App Uses Information
Information is used only to provide the app's scheduling and timeline features: displaying your events, importing tasks you bring in from Google Tasks, creating and rescheduling them, and remembering your preferences. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's features.
Data Sharing and Selling
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Calendar data is exchanged directly between your device and the calendar providers you connect (Google and Apple), governed by their respective privacy policies. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics tracking.
AI-powered scheduling suggestions
Accomplish can suggest when to schedule a task. On iOS devices that support Apple Intelligence, this uses Apple's on-device foundation models; on all other devices, including all Android devices, it uses a simple on-device scheduling heuristic with no AI. To propose a time, the feature reads the titles and times of your existing calendar events and tasks locally on your device.
This processing happens entirely on your device. No calendar data, task data, or any other Google user data is sent to Apple, to any third-party AI service, or to any external server for this feature, and none of it is ever used to train or improve any AI or machine-learning model. Accomplish does not use any third-party or cloud-based AI service.
Google API Services
Accomplish's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized or foundation AI or machine-learning models.
Purchases
Accomplish Pro is an optional purchase (a subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock) processed by Apple's App Store or by Google Play, depending on your device, under the store's own terms and privacy policy. We never receive your payment card details. The app checks your purchase status through the store's official framework only to unlock Pro features.
Security
Your data is stored on your device, and communication with Google and Apple uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections. On iOS, sign-in tokens are kept in the device's secure Keychain; on Android, the app stores no sign-in tokens itself, they are held and refreshed by Google Play services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we rely on the platform's built-in protections.
Data Retention and Your Choices
The app does not retain your calendar data beyond what is needed to display it while you use the app. You remain in control of your access at any time: disconnect your Google account from the app's Settings, or, on iOS, revoke calendar access in the device's Settings app. Disconnecting a Google account removes its sign-in credentials and cached data from the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stores on your device: your tasks, cached events, preferences, and sign-in data.
Website and Waitlist
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses transiently to serve and protect the site, and its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
If you join the Google Play waitlist, we store the email address you enter, together with the signup source and time, in a database hosted by Cloudflare. We use it only to contact you about Accomplish for Android, and we delete the list once it is no longer needed. To be removed at any time, email [email protected]. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you.
Your Rights (EEA and UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are the performance of the service you request (showing and scheduling your events and tasks) and your consent for calendar and account access, which you can withdraw at any time. Because Accomplish stores your data on your device and accesses your calendars only to provide the app's features, you can exercise most of these rights directly: disconnect a provider in Settings, or, on iOS, revoke calendar access in the device's Settings app. The only personal data that reaches us is what you send by email or submit to the waitlist; we are based in Israel, a country covered by European Commission and UK adequacy decisions. You may also contact us, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's Privacy
Accomplish is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, or under the applicable age of consent in your region, we will delete it: contact us at the address below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date above, and we will give more prominent notice of material changes, such as a note in the app or on this site. We will not use previously collected information for materially new purposes without asking first.
